Meet Presley Pribil, a secondary education (English/language arts) major from O’Neill, Nebraska. Presley is also pursuing a minor in psychology.
Why did you choose the University of Nebraska-Lincoln?
I chose UNL because I wanted to go somewhere with a broad range of opportunity! UNL has one of the best teacher education programs in the nation!
What activities and organizations are you involved in on campus?
I am involved in tutoring for the athletic department, aspiring educators, Center for Advocacy, Response, & Education, Out of the Darkness, and CEHS Ambassadors.
What has been your favorite class so far and why?
‘Teaching and Society’ has been my favorite class so far because it was the first time I felt like I was at home at UNL. My professor, Dr. Gray, inspired me to be on the path that I am on currently, and she still checks in on me to this day.
What are your career goals?
I want to be a high school teacher at an inner city title one school, so that I can work with a diverse population and help kiddos achieve their goals.
