The Racial Literacy Roundtables team is hoping to ride a wave of momentum into the new academic year coming off of a very successful 2021 - 2022. In addition to a full schedule of roundtables, the team also hosted a Week of Dialogue to Launch Black History Month in Feb, featuring conversations with important leaders in the community doing impactful racial justice work.
In May, the Racial Literacy Roundtables was awarded the 2022 Inclusive Excellence Collaboration Award from University of Nebraska System President Ted Carter. The award recognizes outstanding contributions across the NU System that advance diversity, access and inclusion.
