The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has launched a national search to select its next dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences.
The 19-member search advisory committee will be chaired by Andy Belser, dean of the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts. ZRG Partners, a global talent advisory firm, will assist the committee with the search.
The College of Education and Human Sciences is a one-of-a-kind college comprised of seven academic departments, with strong and important collaboration with the Institute for Agriculture and Natural Resources, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals, families, schools and communities and strengthening the relationships among them.
The dean is the chief academic and administrative officer of the college and will lead the strategic, programmatic, financial, fundraising and management operations that support the mission and vision of the college. The dean serves as the college's public voice, developing its reputation on the national and international stages, and within the profession. The dean reports directly to the executive vice chancellor and works with fellow deans and campus leaders in collaboration, support and commitment to the university. Committee members include:
