Keiser, TMFD, awarded scholarship and stipend

30 May 2013

CEHS is happy to announce that TMFD Merchandising major Anna Keiser is the recipient of the Ray M. Greenly Scholarship awarded by the National Retail Federation. The $5000 scholarship is also accompanied by a $2500 stipend that will underwrite Anna's attendance at the NRF's annual convention in Chicago this Fall.

Anna’s dream job is to be a creative director for a company, following in the footsteps of her role model, Jenna Lyons, Executive Creative Director for J. Crew Group, Inc. She wrote in her scholarship essay, “The creative director’s main responsibility is to visually represent the company’s image in all aspects… This is my dream job because it will allow me to be involved in all areas of fashion.” As she anticipates a bright retail future, she defines  success as a day when she’ll be able to look forward to waking up the next day to see what’s on the agenda.
