Braden is the Coordinator for the UNL Teacher Scholars Academy in the College of Education and Human Sciences. After receiving his Bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Braden continued his education at Michigan State University where he received his Master's degree in Student Affairs Administration. More recently, Braden is continuing his education with a Master's degree in Social Work at Nebraska Wesleyan University, which he is set to complete in 2024.
Braden values providing an environment where students can authentically be themselves and believes in equity-centered education and support. Braden's previous experience includes residential education at both Michigan State University and the University of Kansas. Braden is honored to serve on the leadership team for the CEHS Racial Literacy Roundtables and has served as a wellbeing liaison for students, faculty, and staff in CEHS.
