CEHS faculty members earn AERA awards

At the April 27–May 1 national conference of the American Educational Research Association in San Francisco, CEHS recognized three faculty members.

Elaine Chan, assistant professor of diversity and curriculum studies, Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education, was selected to receive the Early Career Award with the Narrative Research Special Interest Group; Lauren Gatti, assistant professor, Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education, was selected as the awardee of the AERA Division K Outstanding Dissertation Award; and Michelle Howell Smith, project manager, Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools, was selected to receive the AERA Mixed Methods Outstanding Dissertation Award.

A reception in their honor was hosted by CEHS with over 100 in attendance.
