Emily Ho to talk on prostate cancer prevention at the Nutrigenomics Seminar Series, Dec. 14

On December 14, 12:00 p.m. in the Cottonwood Room in the East Union, the Nebraska Gateway for Nutrigenomics Seminar Series will offer a presentation entitled “Prostate Cancer Prevention with Diet & Epigenetics” given by Emily Ho, member of the School of Biological & Population Health Sciences at the Linus Pauling Institute at Oregon State University.  Ho obtained her BS in nutritional sciences at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and her doctorate in nutrition at the Ohio State University.  Her current research focuses on understanding the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms by which nutrient status affects the initiation and/or progression of chronic disease states such as cancer.
