Rebecca Lai next in NGN Seminar Series, March 7

02 Mar 2012

Rebecca Lai will present "Folding-based Electrochemical Biosensors" 12:00 p.m. on March 7 in Nebraska East Union, Garden Room. Lai's talk is sponsored by the Nebraska Gateway for Nutrigenomics.

Lai, UNL Department of Chemistry, received her B.S. degree in biochemistry from California State University, Los Angeles in 1999 and her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Santa Barbara from 2003-2007. She joined the Department of Chemistry at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in August 2007. Her research focuses on understanding biomolecular interactions, exploiting this understanding in the design of a generalizable and robust electrochemical biosensing platform, and constructing devices incorporating this platform to solve real world analytical problems.

All interested faculty, students, and staff are invited to attend this next talk in our NGN Seminar Series.
