The College of Education and Human Sciences has created a new fund at the University of Nebraska Foundation to support future teachers in Nebraska.
The Teachers for Tomorrow Fund will support the recruitment and retention of teacher education students who have expressed intentions to teach in Nebraska following graduation.
“Teaching is the gateway to learning, discovery and dreams,” said Nick Pace, interim dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences. “I’m inspired every week by our future teachers’ desire to make a difference. The Teachers for Tomorrow Fund makes our outstanding program more affordable and accessible. In a real sense, our donors are putting dreams within reach!”
Contributions to the Teachers for Tomorrow Fund will help CEHS continue to address teacher shortages in communities and districts across the state. Learn more and donate to the Teachers for Tomorrow Fund.
