This summer, Julius Owusu Afriyie, a recent graduate student from UNL with a master's degree in education administration, studied abroad in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil — away from the U.S., while already living abroad from his native country of Ghana.

Thousands of children are back in school, and they were likely greeted by a teacher with a degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Nearly one in four new teachers in the state of Nebraska earn their degree from UNL.

Malgoubri promotes multilingual learning in native Burkina Faso
