Eight faculty and staff in the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders will be honored during a universitywide Celebration of Service Nov. 18 at the Coliseum.
The Celebration of Service event will feature an open house and lunch for all employees from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Coliseum. Honored employees can pick up their service awards, and an all-star photography booth will be available.
In total, 977 employees across the university are being honored for achieving five-year service milestones. The SECD service award recipients are:

Jonathan Carlson, grants specialist, 10 years
Kelcey Buck, communications associate, 5 years
Jessica Namkung, associate professor, 5 years
Abby Pelster, lecturer, 5 years
Nikki Scott, lecturer, 5 years
Anne Thomas, assistant professor of practice, 5 years
Yingying Wang, assistant professor, 5 years
