Deborah Ajeboriogbon is a master’s student in Early Childhood Development/Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a passionate advocate for children’s mental health and well-being. With a deep commitment to fostering nurturing environments, Deborah’s research focuses on parent-child communication and its influence on children’s mental health and decision-making.
Her academic journey is complemented by over a decade of experience as a child development expert, educator, and policymaker, where she has worked tirelessly to advance education, youth mentorship, and mental health advocacy. Deborah is particularly interested in bridging cultural values with modern approaches to mental health, focusing on how traditional African practices influence communication and emotional development among children and families.
When she’s not delving into research or academics, Deborah enjoys writing, mentoring young people, and engaging in community-focused initiatives aimed at empowering youth and promoting sustainable development.
