All Athletic Training students (ATS) enrolled in the professional phase of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Athletic Training Program (UNL ATP) are required to be current on the following immunizations prior to attending any UNL Athletic Training Program Clinical Education activity:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella)
- PPD Test (Tuberculosis Skin Test)
- Hepatitis B and/or signed waiver declining the vaccine
Students will be responsible for the costs associated with obtaining the required UNL ATP immunizations. Students who fail to complete and submit verification of the required immunizations to the program director, prior to beginning assigned clinical education activities, will not be allowed to continue in the program until all missing documentation has been submitted. Required immunizations and trainings may change while enrolled in the program and students are expected to comply with all changes to this policy.
