Schoenrock and Moser honored by ACTE

Two CEHS faculty members have been recognized by the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) for their excellence in preparing future teachers. Sheree Moser, assistant professor of practice in Child, Youth and Family Studies, is ACTE’s Region V Postsecondary Teacher of the Year. Mona Schoenrock, lecturer in Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education, is ACTE’s Nebraska Teacher Educator of the Year.

A new video from the Office of Research and Economic Development at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln highlights the research of TLTE professor Lorraine Males. She is studying mathematics texts used with teacher preparation students. The research is funded by a $630,00 NSF CAREER grant.

HRTM's Jha leads luxury hospitality workshops in India

University of Nebraska–Lincoln faculty member Dipra Jha recently delivered a series of workshops for luxury hospitality professionals across India. Jha, an assistant professor of practice in hospitality, restaurant and tourism management, spent May 12-31 in India as professor in residence with the Oberoi Center of Learning and Development (OCLD). The center is part of Oberoi Group, a hospitality conglomerate that owns and operates some of the most recognized luxury hotels in the world.

HRTM's Jha leads luxury hospitality workshops in India
