CEHS Staff Council will host international event April 17. This event offers participants the chance to sample international dishes and listen to Mariachi music from Alicia Dominguez.

The luncheon will be held at the International Quilt Study Center & Museum 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Pi Lambda Theta, education honor society will sponsor an opportunity to learn about graduate study, April 19, 6 p.m. in the Nebraska Union. 

This event is directed toward teachers and other educators for whom graduate studies is a regular part of professional growth and advancement. The event will also be of interest to undergraduate students who will have the opportunity to learn more about graduate study opportunities and engage in dialogue about graduate studies.

Kane to give talk April 9 as part of BUROS/ETS lecture series

The Buros Center for Testing in collaboration with Educational Testing Service is hosting the sixth installment of the annual BUROS/ETS lecture series on April 9, 2:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and will be held in Teachers College Hall, room 139. Open discussion follows at a reception in the Buros library. 

Michael Kane will offer a presentation entitled, "The Argument-based Approach to Validation."
