Jennifer Johnson Jorgensen has been named the interim associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Education and Human Sciences. Her first day in the role is July 20.
As interim associate dean for academic affairs, Johnson Jorgensen has leadership and administrative responsibilities focused on undergraduate and graduate curriculum, program evaluation, and helping create a climate that emphasizes and fosters a welcoming and engaged college community. She most recently served as department chair and associate professor in textiles, merchandising and fashion design.
Johnson Jorgensen graduated from CEHS with her master’s degree in 2012 and Ph.D. in 2015, before joining the faculty as a lecturer that fall. Her bachelor’s degree was in apparel and textile studies from North Dakota State University.
