University Supervisors

University Supervisors

Teacher's College Hall

Successful student teaching is a collaborative effort involving three key members: the student teacher, the cooperating teacher, and the university supervisor. The university supervisor plays a vital role as the primary liaison between the College of Education and Human Sciences, the school, and the student teacher.  For additional information, resources or assistance, please contact the Office of Accreditation, Placement & Licensure at 402.472.8620.

Letters of Recommendation

Letters of recommendation are crucial in the decision-making regarding hiring. As such, your evaluation plays a critical role in shaping the student’s future. Clear, specific, and honest feedback is most beneficial to both the student and prospective employers. Because student teaching is a developmental process, it’s important that performance evaluations are openly discussed with the student teacher.
