Great Prairie AI Show – Student Application

The Great Prairie AI Show is a live, game-show–style event during Husker AI Days where interdisciplinary teams design creative and responsible AI tools for teaching and learning.

Participants will work in mixed teams of students from fields such as engineering, education, and related disciplines to tackle a real educational challenge using AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, or Gemini. Over three fast-paced rounds, teams will prototype ideas, test them, and think through responsible AI use.

The event will take place April 22 from 4:00–7:00 PM. Selected participants will also attend a short pre-event orientation session via Zoom the week before the event where teams will meet and learn about the event format.

No advanced technical experience is required; students with different backgrounds and skill sets are encouraged to apply.
