Dr. Brandon Davies from the University of California, Los Angeles, a faculty candidate in the Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences, will present a seminar entitled “The Critical Role of GPIHBP1 in Triglyceride Metabolism” at 11:30 on Wednesday, November 16, in the Nebraska East Union, Columbine Room. Dr. Davies’ research explores the role of endothelial cells in triglyceride metabolism, with an emphasis on trans-endothelial transport and the mechanisms by which endothelial cell-specific gene expression is established and maintained in the microvasculature.
