Five students from the College of Education and Human Sciences will serve as New Student Enrollment orientation leaders for 2026.

Incoming students and their families learn about campus resources, expectations, requirements, norms and success strategies through participation in orientation. Orientation leaders are responsible for facilitating and engaging students in activities rooted in the Husker Student POWER framework.

The 32 orientation leaders for 2026 were selected through a rigorous application process. Candidates were evaluated based on their campus involvement, work experience, essay responses, professional references and performance during a three-hour, multi-part interview.
