Kylee Preuss named Chancellor's Scholar

Kylee Preuss, a human development and family science major, will be recognized as a Chancellor's Scholar during the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's commencement ceremony Aug. 17 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Students are recognized as Chancellor's Scholars for maintaining a 4.0 GPA on all collegiate work at Nebraska and elsewhere. Preuss, a native of Omaha, is the only student who will be recognized for this achievement at the summer commencement. Her parents are Christina Preuss and Chad Preuss.

The university will confer about 550 degrees during a combined graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremony Aug. 17. The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m., with doors opening to the public at 7:30 a.m. The university will award doctoral, master’s, juris doctorate and baccalaureate degrees.
