Applications are open for incoming Huskers to join the next cohort of the Teacher Scholars Academy in the College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The Fall 2026 cohort is open to students new to campus who plan to become teachers. Interested students can complete an application at go.unl.edu/tsa-app. The deadline to apply is Feb. 15.

Students selected for the Teacher Scholars Academy receive an annual scholarship for four years of continuous enrollment in a teacher-education program. TSA students also participate in an academy seminar, peer mentorship with TSA upperclassmen, leadership and service opportunities, and shared coursework with their peers.

The Teacher Scholars Academy in CEHS welcomed its first cohort in Fall 2019 and currently has 46 active students in educator preparation programs in the college. A total of 115 students have graduated from TSA since its inception.
