I was one of those people that always wanted to get out of Nebraska, and I wanted to go to a huge city but once I stepped on campus, the vibe was just electric and I knew this was my place.

The cool thing about UNL is it has a different story for everyone. No one's story is the same.

I believe in hope. I believe no matter what situation you're in, anyone can make it better.

I'm looking forward to the end of my degree here at UNL because I get to do an internship and I get to use everything I learned in the classroom with my group members, and I get to apply it to real life.

I get to work with people and hopefully be a glimpse of hope that they might not have.
