The College of Education and Human Sciences Student Advisory Board (SAB) welcomes application from any undergraduate student who is enrolled in the college. We understand college students are busy between classes, involvements, work, and more! With that in mind, SAB welcomes new members at any point during the Fall and Spring semester. Our group welcomes new members throughout the year.
Eligibility
The College of Education and Human Sciences Student Advisory Board is a recognized student organization that serves as a liaison between students and the college deans, faculty and staff. The role of this board is to provide the student perspective regarding college climate, and issues affecting students.
The CEHS Student Advisory Board seeks hard-working, responsible individuals who are interested in both the well-being of the college and in developing and implementing activities that enhance students’ experience.
Those eligible for CEHS SAB membership must meet minimum requirements to be considered as a candidate for selection to the CEHS SAB. CEHS SAB requirements for candidates are:
1) An undergraduate student enrolled or declared in the College of Education and Human Sciences.
2) Student is in good standing in the College of Education and Human Sciences and the University of Nebraska (2.5 or C+ average during the previous semester).
Term Limits
Undergraduate
Students at the undergraduate level are not subject to a term limit. Undergraduates who are accepted and stay in good standing with the board are members until their graduation from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln OR until they choose to terminate membership.
Fall 2026 Meetings
Fall 2026 meetings will be on select Thursday evenings at 6 PM on City Campus - email annmarie@unl.edu for the specific room location.
