NIFA visit to CEHS a great success

CEHS recently hosted a visiting team from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture as part of a national approval process for the college's human sciences programs. The team's visit was theon-site portion of the approval process.

Preceding the visit, faculty and staff from multiple programs engaged in a one-year self-study and reporting activity. The work was complex and involved, taking much time and reflection. The review is a critical piece of the approval process, affecting funding and sponsored programs.

CEHS Staff Council charity drive huge success

It was such a cold, rainy, dreary day, but that did not dampen the spirit of all those who gave to our two worthy charities this holiday season.

CEHS Staff Council gathered your donations, which filled a van that went to The Barnabas Project for working poor families, and filled both the bed and the cab of a pickup driven to the homeless women at Fresh Start. Donations included  food, bedding, clothing, some still with tags on them, a coat still in a cleaner's bag, 24 wrapped lotions from Bath and Body Works.
