EDAD grad Kane awarded for dissertation, selected ACE Fellow

Cindy Kane, a December 2014 Ph.D. graduate from the Department of Educational Administration at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln has been awarded with the Dissertation of the Year Award from the Association of College Unions International (ACUI).

Kostelnik honored by LAEYC

The Lincoln Association for the Education of Young Children (LAEYC) has named College of Education and Human Sciences Dean Marjorie Kostelnik its Sally Wysong Award recipient for outstanding service to the children of Lincoln and their families. The award was presented April 9 at LAEYC’s Early Childhood Celebration at Southeast Community College.

Geisinger selected as Penn State Alumni Fellow

Kurt Geisinger, WC Meierhenry Distinguished University Professor in Educational Psychology and Director of the Buros Center for Testing, was recently honored by the Penn State Alumni Association as a 2016 Alumni Fellow. This award recognizes Geisinger’s exceptional professional accomplishments and is the highest honor given by the Penn State Alumni Association. Geisinger is being invited back to University Park campus for a special induction ceremony and private breakfast in October.

Documentary addresses "boy crisis"

In overwhelming numbers, residents say that high-quality early care and education is not available or affordable for all families in Nebraska.
