116 CEHS students honored as graduates with distinction

Nearly 120 students graduating from the College of Education and Human Sciences next week are being recognized as Graduates with Distinction at a special reception Friday, May 1, in Carolyn Pope Edwards Hall.  

The 116 May 2026 CEHS Graduates with Distinction represent 14 states, 36 cities and towns across Nebraska, and 15 different majors from across four academic departments in the college. The complete list of May 2026 CEHS Graduates with Distinction follows.

All students graduating with distinction from CEHS must meet three criteria: 1) completed at least 60 hours at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln at the time of graduation; 2) satisfactorily completed student teaching (for teaching endorsement programs) or fulfilled practica or other internship experiences as required by their programs of study; and 3) eligibility is based on cumulative GPA of all credit hours taken at UNL prior to beginning the term in which they receive their degrees.
