CYAF Dissertation Grant

The Department of Child, Youth and Family Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is pleased to invite applications for a dissertation grant for up to $5,000. The dissertation grant is intended to support and advance the work of CYAF doctoral students whose proposed dissertation research reflects a strong potential for long-term impact. Each grant will be awarded for up to 18 months.

Total amount available: $5,000 

Number of grants: 1-2 grants may be awarded, depending on the merit of applications and availability of funds.

The Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders (SECD) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is currently recruiting students for the first cohort of a new interprofessional training program, the Mid-Plains Professional Upgrade Partnership – Interdisciplinary Training in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Deaf Education (MPUP-SPADE).

Making learning visible is the theme of Carolyn Pope Edwards Hall, the new home for the College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Ambassador scholarship available for CYAF study abroad students

The CYAF Ambassador Scholarship is available for students going on a CYAF-sponsored study abroad trip.

The CYAF Ambassador Scholarship is designed to encourage CYAF student participation in CYAF-sponsored short term study abroad by reducing the financial burden of the trip. This is a scholarship of up to $1,000.
