Preprofessional students who are successfully admitted into the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Athletic Training Program (UNL ATP) will be considered professional students, given the title Athletic Training Student (ATS), and begin the three (3)-year (six-semester) professional UNL ATP. During this period, professional students will participate in both didactic and clinical education activities simultaneously building on knowledge learned from the previous semester.
