Twenty-six students from the College of Education and Human Sciences are among the members of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's 2026 Cornhusker Marching Band.
The group made its football season debut Sept. 5 at Memorial Stadium with pregame and halftime performances during Nebraska’s home opener against Ohio. Each student completed two auditions to earn a spot in the band. The Cornhusker Marching Band, which resides in the Glenn Korff School of Music, was founded in 1879 as an ROTC unit and is one of the oldest marching bands in the nation.
