CEHS Building to be Named Carolyn Pope Edwards Hall

The College of Education and Human Sciences’ new building being constructed on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s City Campus will be named Carolyn Pope Edwards Hall. Bekka Hitz inducted into Mortar Board for 2022-23

Bekka Hitz, a special education (7-12) major from Omaha, was among the 29 Huskers tapped into the Black Masque Chapter of Mortar Board during the Ivy Day ceremony April 2.

Mortar Board is a national honor society that recognizes college seniors for their achievements in scholarship, leadership and service, provides opportunities for continued leadership development, promotes service to colleges and universities, and encourages lifelong contributions to the global community.
