Salin Raj Palayyan Finalist in the American Society for Nutrition’s Postdoctoral Research Award Competition

Salin Raj Palayyan (Sunil Sukumaran lab) has been named a finalist in the American Society for Nutrition’s (ASN) Postdoctoral Research Award Competition, an educational activity that recognizes early-career scientists and clinicians presenting outstanding research.

Six finalists were chosen from 80 applicants and will be recognized during NUTRITION 2024, the American Society for Nutrition’s annual flagship meeting which will be held from June 29 to July 2 at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, IL.

NPOD 15th Annual Spring Retreat

The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases (NPOD) hosted his 15th Annual Spring Retreat on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the Nebraska East Union. 

The symposium was attended by over 60 participants.

Featured speakers were experts on the topics of "Precision Nutrition in Obesity and its Comorbidities":

  • Dr. Wei Perng (University of Colorado - Anschutz)
    "Advancing metabolic disease prevention in youth through Precision medicine, Omics, and Data Science (PODS)"
